ClickUp Notifications

ClickUp integration allows Vaktum to automatically create and update tasks in your ClickUp workspace based on API test results and other events.

Setting Up ClickUp Notifications

  1. Navigate to Workspace SettingsNotifications
  2. Click "Add Notification Channel"
  3. Select "ClickUp" as the channel type
  4. Configure the following settings:
    • ClickUp API Token: Your ClickUp personal API token
    • List ID: Select the list where tasks should be created
    • Event Types: Select which events should trigger ClickUp tasks

Connecting to ClickUp

To obtain a ClickUp API token:

  1. Log in to your ClickUp account
  2. Click on your profile picture in the bottom left
  3. Go to SettingsApps
  4. Generate an API token and copy it
  5. Paste the token into Vaktum's ClickUp notification settings

ClickUp Integration Use Cases

Common uses for the ClickUp integration include:

  • Bug Tracking: Create tasks for failed tests that need developer attention
  • API Maintenance: Track API changes and updates as tasks
  • Release Management: Create tasks for pre-release API validation
  • Documentation Updates: Generate tasks when API documentation needs revision
  • Security Findings: Create tasks for security-related issues detected in tests

Troubleshooting ClickUp Integration

If tasks aren't being created or updated properly:

  1. Verify your API token is valid and has the necessary permissions
  2. Check that the workspace, space, and list IDs are correct
  3. Ensure the specified custom fields exist in your ClickUp list
  4. Verify that events are occurring that match your notification criteria
  5. Check Vaktum's notification logs for any error messages
